Bavarian Ministry of State for Education and Cult

An der politischen Spitze des Bayerischen Staatsministeriums für Unterricht und Kultus stehen Staatsminister Dr. Ludwig Spaenle und Staatssekretär Dr. Marcel Huber als Stellvertreter des Ministers.
Die einzelnen Fachreferate bilden die Organisationseinheiten des Ministeriums. Sie sind zu sieben Abteilungen zusammengefasst und werden von Ministerialdirigenten als Abteilungsleiter geleitet. Diesen Abteilungen steht der Amtschef, Ministerialdirektor Josef Erhard, vor.
Außerhalb dieser Liniengliederung stehen das Büro des Staatsministers, das Büro des Staatssekretärs und die zentrale Stellen (Ministerrat/Landtag, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Presse, Reden).
Die Bayerische Landeszentrale für politische Bildungsarbeit ist unmittelbar dem Minister unterstellt.
